Albert Cummings  -is a 

blues/rock/americana guitarist and singer.  Originally discovered and produced by the members of Stevie Ray Vaughan’s Double Trouble, Albert Cummings has been leaving behind him a trail of sorted bandstands since the beginning of the new millennium.    

Cummings energetic live shows are proof that he is one tough act to follow, and he has shared the bill with everyone from BB King, Buddy Guy, Johnny Winter, Sheryl Crow, Susan Tedeschi and many others.  With eight albums released since the early 2000’s, including several highly acclaimed titles for Blind Pig Records, he has become the label’s best selling artist.  In early 2018, Albert released a new live album/DVD entitled Live at the ’ 62 Center,  which notched a Blues Music Award Nominee for “Best Blues/Rock album” at the 2019 Blues Music Awards.  See the trailer for Albert’s new DVD here: Live at the 62 Center.  In 2019, you can see Live at the ‘ 62 Center, which will air on several PBS/public television affiliates throughout the country.  Later this year, Albert will also be releasing his first album of new material since 2015’s Someone Like You, which peaked at #2 on the Billboard Blues Charts.
